Welcome to My Resource File, a project of the Brown Street Church of Christ in Waxahachie, Texas. As a church, our mission is “Helping you take your next step towards Christ.” The purpose of My Resource File is to provide you with access to various online resources (most of them free of charge) that can help you do just that.

There are lots of different kinds of resources on this site, for…

As this site grows, we will look for resources that we can share in each of the above areas.

NOTE: This website is a new and improved version of its predecessor website, ResourceFile.org. As resources are transferred to this site, they will be removed from the old site. So, during the transition, the full slate of resources will be split between the two sites. ALL NEW RESOURCES WILL BE ADDED TO THIS SITE.

Finding Your Way Around

There are four primary methods for finding the resources you are looking for here at My Resource File:

Resources Page

If you select “Resources” on the main navigation menu, you will be presented with an alphabetical listing of every resource listed on the site. Scroll through the list and find the one you are looking for.

Newest Resources Page

If you select “Newest” on the main navigation menu, you will be presented with a blog layout showing the newest resource listed first, the second-newest resource next, and so on. Checking this page regularly is a good way to keep up with new resources as they are added.

Categories Page

If you select “Categories” on the main navigation menu, you will be presented with an alphabetical listing of every category used to classify the resources listed on the site. When you click on a category name, you will be taken to a list of resources for that category.

Search

The main navigation menu has a magnifying glass at far right. This is the search icon. When you click the magnifying glass, a search bar will open up where you can type any keywords you want, to see if there are any resources on the website that match those keywords. There is also a search box at the top of the sidebar on all resource pages.

We have made an effort to ensure that the resources listed on this site are scriptural in their content. However, we are not in control of content authored by others and linked to herein, or appearing on a website linked to from ResourceFILE.

Anything authored by man should always be compared to the Scriptures to make sure it is in agreement with Scripture, as the Bereans did in Acts 17:11.

That being said, it is our hope that these resources will be beneficial to you as you grow in your faith.
